In this podcast we discuss:
News
- The Saints saw three key players leave Sunday's loss to the Vikings with injuries. Michael Thomas, Marshon Lattimore have "fairly significant" injuries; Derek Carr's shoulder is fine.
- Justin Fields "We just need more time," Eberflus said in his press conference. Eberflus did not say whether or not Fields has been medically cleared.
- Falcons QB Arthur Smith isn't ready to name a starter as the team enters its bye week.
- Deshaun Watson was in a walking boot after Sunday's win over the Ravens. Watson will be having an MRI.
- Vikings have now won five in a row — the longest winning streak in the NFL at the moment. Are very much in the NFC playoff race, thanks to quarterback Josh Dobbs.
- Baker Mayfield Upon further examination from the Bucs training staff on Monday, Mayfield has no issues with his thumb
- Dolphins Even after their bye, Dolphins' offense still leads the NFL in points and yards. Dolphins on in-season Hard Knocks debuts next Tuesday, November 21
- De'Von Achane McDaniel said Achane has been dealing more with a sprain than a tear. Achane can return at any time — potentially as soon as the Week 11 matchup against the Raiders.
More
- Davante Adams told reporters he likes what he’s been seeing out of Aidan O'Connell. "It was impressive, man. He's as cool as the other side of the pillow."
- C.J. Stroud Stroud is running away with the offensive rookie of the year award. He may be one of the best offensive rookies the NFL has ever seen.
- Mac Jones Bill Belichick didn't commit to a starting quarterback after Sunday's loss to the Colts in Frankfurt.
- Tee Higgins On a short week, it’s considered unlikely that Bengals’ WR Tee Higgins will be able to return from his hamstring injury, per source.
- Matthew Stafford Sean McVay said he's expecting QB Matthew Stafford to play Sunday against the Seahawks.
- Zach Wilson Jets’ HC Robert Saleh told reporters today that he’s sticking with Zach Wilson as his starting QB. “He’s actually playing pretty well,” Saleh said.
- Alexander Mattison was diagnosed with a concussion. The Vikings are signing running back Myles Gaskin to their practice squad.
- Zay Jones faces a misdemeanor domestic battery charge after being arrested Monday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN reports.
- Carson Wentz The biggest question, in our view, is whether it's a short-term move or potentially a long-term move.
Ja'Marr Chase won't be one of the injury worries for the Bengals during their short week.
