I started listening to your podcast and then stopped when you said you would go ahead and do a trade for Jose Ramirez and Domingo santana. Uh Yah. But Come on man! NO ONE is giving up their first round pick For Domingo Santana. NO ONE
So I never said I personally would do a trade for Jose Ramirez for Domingo Santana. I was saying that Jose Ramirez is a buy low option right now and you could possibly send somebody who is producing like a Domingo Santana for Jose Ramirez.
I think you would be surprised at how many people would accept a deal for a guy hitting .288 with 8 HR, 35 RBI, 20 runs with 4 steals for a guy hitting .207, with 3 HR, 11 RBI, 14 runs and 9 steals. There are a lot of people super worried that his second-half struggles are carrying over to this season and this is now who J-Ram is, so they want to bail, first round pick or not.
