ThriveFantasy 1-18-21 NBA Prop Bets Picks

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day everyone! Welcome to the ThriveFantasy 1-18-21 NBA Prop Bets Picks.

It is tough to have a full day of games this year given the fact that the pandemic is still around us and cancelling games almost every night because of it.

But, lets’ hope no games get cancelled today and we can make some money.

Below I give you five plays using the ThriveFantasy app that I believe will or will not exceed the NBA betting projections generated from the app.

I will also give you my favorite ICE pick. An ICE pick is in case someone is a late scratch from your starters, the ICE pick player comes into effect, and his points will count.

ThriveFantasy 1-18-21 NBA Prop Bets Picks

James Harden – Nets vs Bucks – Under 26.5 points

Harden is coming off a superb debut for the Nets where he put up a huge triple-double. He is coming off a game where he poured in 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists. The change of scenery sure did wonders for Harden. But, tonight’s matchup against the Bucks is not an easy one.

The Bucks allow the 2nd LEAST amount of points to opposing guards, so even though the prop bet is right around Harden’s average of 25.6 points per game, tonight’s matchup is a pass for me.

Kevin Durant – Nets vs Bucks – Under 8.5 rebounds

Durant is back to playing at an All-Star level since returning from the Achilles injury. However, this prop is way too high for Durant, considering he averages right around 6.9 rebounds per game.

Throw in the fact the Bucks rank sixth in total rebounds and rebound rate, this doesn’t bode well for Durant’s chances of exceeding this prop.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – Bucks @ Nets – Over 4.5 assists

Giannis continues to dominate the league in every possible aspect of the game (well except free throw shooting). He is averaging 26.6 points, 10 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. His assists average is higher than the prop generated tonight which is usually a good sign.

This prop is quite juicy to me and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Giannis exceed this in the first half. Giannis has had 10 assists in two games this season, both leading to triple-doubles.

Luka Doncic – Mavs vs Raptors – Over 18.5 rebounds and assists

This is quite an embarrassing prop. Luka is just half an assist per game shy of averaging a triple-double on the season!. He is averaging 10.2 rebounds and 9.4 assists to go along with 28.3 points per night.

He will absolutely crush this prop. Over his last four games, Luka has three triple-doubles and was one assist shy in the other game.

Kristaps Porzingis – Mavs vs Raptors – Under 27.5 points and rebounds

KP is still being eased back into the game recovering from a knee injury. He played 30+ minutes last night and I can’t imagine he will get another 30 playing in a road game on a back-to-back.

However, his stats have improved in each of his three games so things are looking good for him overall.

I am taking the under here because of the matchup. The Raptors allow the 14th least amount of points to opposing forwards, and with Porzingis still being eased back in, itdoesn’t bode well for him to hit the over here.
