Aaron Judge, Yankees @ Orioles – OVER .5 Runs

Judge is off to a decent start to the season. Even though he’s only played in 3 games to start the season due to COVID, he’s healthy and ripping the cover off the ball. He only has one RBI on the year but that will change tonight. With the matchup against the minor league affiliates Oriels, Judge will wreak havoc tonight. The .5 runs in my opinion is embarrassing tonight for what Judge is capable of doing.

Judge has 30 homer potential, (on a regular season), and his power will be on full display tonight. Oriels are arguably the worst team in all of MLB, not just this year, but every year. Judge is a LOCK here for me.

Gerrit Cole, Yankees @ Orioles – OVER 9.5 K’s

As mentioned above, the Yankees tend to feel right at home when playing in Camden Yards. Cole is coming off a “complete game shutout” (the game was shortened due to rain), against the Washington Nationals offense.

Cole had five strikeouts in his first start. This matchup is a whole lot easier for the Yankees ace. He should mow down the Orioles in order easily and could go the distance tonight.

He’s my LOCK at pitcher tonight! Honestly, Cole no hitting the Orioles isn’t out of the realm of possibility!

Paul Goldschmidt, Cardinals @ Twins – UNDER .5 HRs

Goldy used to be an animal at the plate, one of the most feared hitters in all of baseball. In recent years, he’s seemingly fallen off a cliff and just can’t seem to get right.

Early on, he is hitting .313 and we know he has the potential to hit the ball out of the ballpark on any given night. I just don’t see it tonight against Rich Hill.

Minnesota is off to a 3-1 start and has the lefty on the mound. Hill gets the ball in on the right-handed batters making it tough for them to make solid contact.

Goldy will get on base, but no homers for the veteran slugger tonight.

Kyle Seager – Mariners @ Angels – UNDER 1.5 hits and runs

Seager is one of the most consistent hitters and can practically get on base at will. He already has four hits on the season, including a home run.

The reason why I’m going the under tonight is he gets the Angels Ace in Andrew Heaney. A lefty on lefty matchup rarely favors of the hitter.

“ICE” Pick: Shohei Ohtani – Angels vs Mariners – UNDER 1.5 total Hits, Runs, RBI

Ohtani had a disastrous outing in his first start back from Tommy Johns surgery. Lasted only one inning but got absolutely lit up. But, tonight, he’s in the batter’s box and not on the pitcher’s mound.

He just doesn’t look fully healthy to me yet. He has one RBI on the year, and a very lousy .143 batting average.

The matchup tonight isn’t bad, going up against Mariners prospect Justin Dunn.

When healthy, Ohtani is fantastic and the rare “two-way” player. But, until then he’s a fade in all formats for me.

That does it! Good luck, let’s win some money and play ball!
