2020-21 Fantasy Basketball week 2 Drop List

The NBA Playoffs are here and the games yesterday were as exciting as it gets! Today we have another quadruple-header, so that means we get games all day again. Let's take a look at my ThriveFantasy NBA Prop Bets Picks for 8-18-20.

I will be giving you guys my favorite four plays of the day. Two plays that will go over the projected NBA prop bet, one play that will go under, and one "ICE" pick.

An "ICE" pick is a pick where in case one of our current players are late scratch due to unforeseen reasons, the ice pick points will come into play.

Let's get to it, and make some money!

Chris Paul - Thunder @ Rockets - OVER 19.5 points

CP3 isn't playing at the level he used to, but he is still an elite playmaker and scorer. On the year he is averaging 17.6 points per game. However, playoff CP3 is a whole different story. To make a case for taking the over today, the Rockets give up the 27 points per game to opposing point guards. The Rockets will have trouble containing CP3 all game long and he will make them pay.

Chris Paul didn't play on Friday in the "season finale" due to a sprained wrist, but he is good to go and ready to rock.

Damian Lillard - Blazers @ Lakers - OVER 49.5 total points, rebounds, and assists

Lillard has been playing completely out of his mind the last week of the NBA season. He is the hottest player in all of basketball and averaged 37.6 points per game in the Bubble.

On the year, Lillard is averaging 30 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game. He is scorching and I think the Lakers will have trouble containing him. The Lakers were one of the worst teams in during the restart against opposing point guards.

There is no one hotter than Lillard in the NBA today and he will look to continue his scoring rampage in game one of this best of seven series vs the Lakers.

Carmelo Anthony - Blazers vs Lakers - UNDER 14.5 Points

Melo has been playing with an extra spark lately. He is averaging 15.5 points on the year and has scored over 20 points in four of his last five games. However, he gets a daunting matchup against Lebron Jame. The Lakers give up the eight least amount of points to opposing forwards.

Melo will have his hands full all day and should force a lot of shots. The under here is a bit risky, but I think LeBron shuts down Melo and makes Lillard beat them.

Melo also loves to live on the perimeter and I wouldn't be surprised to see Anthony Davis even come help out there, making Melo more of a passer than scorer today. Take the under here in what should be an extremely exciting game.

ICE PICK: Danilo Gallinari -  Thunder @ Rockets - UNDER 5.5 rebounds

Gallo is much more of a scorer than a rebounder. On the year he is only averaging 5.2 rebounds a game. Most notably, he's only grabbed over five rebounds in three of the last 15 games.

The Rockets do give up a ton of points and rebounds to opposing forwards, but Gallo just isn't the type of guy that's going to approach a double-double with rebounds.

This is an easy under call as I expect the Rockets to run away with this game. This is the safest ICE pick there is. Take Gallo as the under and enjoy the cash!

That does it! Hope you guys enjoy it and good luck!
