Coming off my best week of the season I am just a decent week with my 2022 NFL Week 10 football bets from being positive in every pick area.
My NFL picks were 4-0-1, bringing my other best bets almost back to even money. I lost a teaser because of Buffalo, but hit positive in every other category.
As we enter the halfway point, we can really take a look at how team’s have played, not just their records. Are they getting lucky in coin-flip games? Unlucky? Are all of their wins or losses blowouts? We can use this to find value.
Last weekend was a strong profit of 5.6 units, bringing my yearly profit to 19.8 units. That would mean if you placed a $100 wager on every one of my picks, you would be up almost $2,000.
As always, a simple disclaimer: sports betting should be entertainment. The 2022 NFL Week 10 football bets will not make you rich. Anyone with picks saying they can make you rich is a liar and I would bet against them.

Each week I will pick my five best bets for the NFL weekend. This is similar to the most famous handicapping contest in the world, The Las Vegas Supercontest, where the winner gets over a million bucks.
The Tomlin Lock of the Week (1-0 Last Week, 8-3 Season, +9.4 Units)
Miami Dolphins -3 vs. Cleveland Browns
Scott over at Pregame had this trend: teams that won straight up as an underdog the week before their bye week and are then are a road dog of at least three following their bye week are 4-34 SU, 11-27 ATS. Cleveland won straight up over Cincinnati as a dog before their bye week. Also, teams that are in the week before their bye week as a home favorite of at least three points are 57.2% ATS in almost 300 games. Miami heads into their bye next week.
The trends make sense: the dog’s momentum is killed by the off week, the bigger favorite knows to take care of business before the week off. I also just do not want to get in the way of the Dolphins’ offense right now. Tua is leaving big touchdowns on the table due to lack of arm strength and they are still uncoverable.
