Tomlin’s Tips: 2022 NFL Week 11 Football Bets

2023 NFL Week 18 Football Bets

After another profitable week we are really surging with the 2022 NFL Week 11 football bets.

I got caught up in a couple of spots of unknown with my NFL picks last week that I learned to stay away from next time. Seattle with their inexperience going overseas and the unknown of Jeff Saturday as head coach caught me in a couple of trap spots.

Such as if I knew Matt Ryan was starting, I would have stayed away from that game. So, if I find a spot where there is too much unknown (coaching, quarterback, injuries, etc.) I am going to pass no matter the trends.

Last weekend was a strong profit of 4.6 units, bringing my yearly profit to 24.0 units. That would mean if you placed a $100 wager on every one of my picks, you would be up exactly $2,400.

As always, a simple disclaimer: sports betting should be entertainment. The 2022 NFL Week 11 football bets will not make you rich. Anyone with picks saying they can make you rich is a liar and I would bet against them.

The 2022 NFL Week 11 football bets will be about having fun wagering on sports while trying to stay even or break a small profit.

All of the information for the 2022 NFL Week 11 football bets is up to date as of November 17th.

Best NFL Bets

Each week I will pick my five best bets for the NFL weekend. This is similar to the most famous handicapping contest in the world, The Las Vegas Supercontest, where the winner gets over a million bucks.

Minnesota Vikings +1.5 vs. Dallas Cowboys

The wrong team is favored here. I get it, last week was a “lucky” win for the Vikings and the Cowboys blew a 14-point lead to the Packers. So it would seem like two false finals, right? Well I think “luck” of the fumbled snap by the Bills just countered the “unluckiness” of Minnesota not scoring from the 1-inch line.

More importantly, teams that have won 88% of their games that are home dogs are 37-22-2 Against The Spread (ATS) in the last 20 years. If that game was in November or later, that team is 5-2 ATS. It is only the third time since 1989 that an 8-1 or better team is an underdog excluding the last week of the season, and both other times were straight up wins.

You can think that Minnesota is a fake 8-1 all you want, but they still are what their record says they are. They will be able to run on the Cowboys’ defense and force Dak into mistakes, just like Green Bay did last week.
